GHIG aims to educate and empower medical students at UB to responsibly get involved in the field of global medicine.
Through local and international volunteer opportunities, elective courses, seminars, and research, our goal is to cultivate student interest in global medicine while working to improve health equity around the world.

Current projects
Our team is tackling a variety of projects in various regions of the world. Some of these projects involve improving access to education and healthcare in developing countries. Other projects are designed to provide medical aid to the growing immigrant and refugee population within Buffalo and the US as a whole.
